Investment Advisor magazine's 2010 career guide includes an article on the latest trends in advisor recruiting, "Moving On: With clients, money, and advisors in motion, how independent b/ds are recruiting now," by Marlene Satter.  Art Grant spoke with her about the latest trends:

With regard to key factors advisors are citing as their reasons to move, "Most experienced advisors know that culture will ultimately make you comfortable or not," he says.  "Many come to us and say they don't want to make another move; they want to be in a stable firm that's predictable."
